The Meridian method

Instrument diagnostics on every call — no guessing allowed
We measure. Then we promise.
Ray Delgado spent a decade as a casino-resort chief building engineer, where “probably fine” is not an acceptable reading. He built Meridian on one rule: no claim without a measurement behind it.
Manual J
Sized by math, every install
Room-by-room load calculation on every replacement quote, free, no exceptions. About a third of the systems we replace were oversized — we end that cycle instead of continuing it.
2× tested
Before-and-after numbers
Static pressure, temperature split, duct leakage — measured before we start and after we finish, both printed on your invoice. Claims you can check beat promises you can't.
±2°
Balance guaranteed in writing
Every regularly used room within two degrees of setpoint, guaranteed on the contract. Miss it and we're back on our dime until it holds.
$0 comm.
Salaried techs, zero commission
Nobody in your house earns a percentage of what they sell you. Diagnostic reports read like data sheets because that's all they need to be.

with a data sheet,
not a sales pitch.
Static pressure before and after — you get both numbers. Duct leakage in CFM, tested twice. Refrigerant charge verified by superheat and subcool, written down. That's what “done” means here.

How a visit runs
Call or book
A human dispatcher answers 24/7. You get a real arrival window and a text when your technician is 30 minutes out — with their name and photo.
Measure first
Every visit starts with instruments: pressures, temperatures, electrical readings. We diagnose from data, and you see every number we take.
Fixed quote, your call
Flat-rate pricing from the book, explained in plain English, approved by you before work starts. Repair-versus-replace math in writing when it's relevant.
Verified done
We re-test after the work — static pressure, temp split, charge — and the after-numbers go on your invoice next to the before-numbers. That's what done means.
Meridian Care Plan · $18/mo
Desert duty is hard duty. Maintenance is how systems survive it.
Two instrumented tune-ups a year, every reading logged, priority dispatch in summer, zero after-hours fees, 15% off repairs. Month-to-month — we keep members by being useful, not by contract.

“Meridian was the only one that came with instruments instead of a brochure… Upstairs and downstairs now read within one degree of each other. I checked. Repeatedly.”
“My old unit died on a Friday in July — 111° that day. They had a portable cooler at my house by evening for my mom's room, walked me through repair vs replace with actual numbers on Saturday, and installed Monday. The crew showed at 6 a.m. sharp and the house was cooling by 3. The commissioning sheet with the pressure readings is still on my fridge.”
“We have a west wall of glass and the old single-stage unit slammed on and off all afternoon. Meridian's Manual J actually modeled the glazing — the engineer showed me the room-by-room loads on his laptop. The new variable-speed system is so quiet I checked the breaker twice the first week to confirm it was running. HOA paperwork for the condenser screen? They handled it.”

All 10 questionsDo you really do same-day service in summer?
Yes — it's a written guarantee for cooling emergencies called in before 2 p.m., and we hit it for the vast majority of after-2 calls too. We staff summer with all 9 technicians on rotating extended shifts and keep trucks stocked for first-visit fixes. Care Plan members get priority in the queue.
What does the $89 diagnostic include?
A full instrument workup, not a look-and-quote: static pressure, temperature split, superheat/subcool refrigerant readings, capacitor and contactor tests under load, and an electrical inspection — with every number written down and photos of what we find. The $89 applies in full to any repair you approve.
What is a Manual J load calculation and do I really need one?
It's the ACCA-standard room-by-room model of your home's actual heat gain — window orientation, insulation, infiltration, the works. It's how you size equipment with engineering instead of folklore. At Meridian it's free with every replacement quote and we won't sell you a system without one. Oversized equipment is the most common, most expensive mistake in Vegas HVAC.
Are your technicians employees or subcontractors?
Employees — all 9, NATE-certified, EPA 608 certified, background-checked, in marked trucks and uniforms. They're paid salary, not sales commission, which is why our diagnostic reports read like data sheets instead of pitch decks.
