Installation day is one day for most homes. New pad, new line set or pressure-tested existing, new smart thermostat, commissioning with measured static pressure and refrigerant charge verified by superheat/subcool — and both numbers go on your paperwork. What is a Manual J and why does it matter?
It's the industry-standard heat-load calculation: a room-by-room model of how much heat your specific house gains in a Vegas summer. It's the difference between engineering and guessing. Skip it and you're trusting a rule of thumb from 1985 — which is how the valley ended up full of oversized, short-cycling systems.
How long does installation take?
Most changeouts are done in a single day: crew arrives at 6 a.m. (beat the heat), old system out by mid-morning, new system commissioned and cooling by late afternoon. Full system-plus-duct projects run two to three days, and we never leave a house without cooling overnight in summer.
Do you handle the NV Energy rebate paperwork?
Yes. When your chosen system qualifies for a PowerShift or efficiency rebate, we file the paperwork and the rebate lands with you. We also register your manufacturer warranty — an easy step some contractors skip, which quietly cuts a 10-year warranty to 5.
