Our techs don't guess at which one — they measure. Every diagnostic includes static pressure, capacitor microfarads under load, superheat and subcool readings, and a temperature split across the coil. You see every number before we quote a fix.
The $89 diagnostic fee applies in full to any repair we do. If the honest answer is that a repair doesn't make financial sense — say, a compressor on a 16-year-old R-22 system — we'll show you the math on repair versus replace and let you decide. No commission games: our techs are paid salary, not a percentage of what they sell you.

Do you really answer at 2 a.m.?
Yes. A human dispatcher, not a machine. Overnight emergency calls carry a $59 after-hours surcharge, which we tell you on the phone before a truck rolls. When it's 108° at midnight and someone in the house is elderly, pregnant, or an infant, we treat it as urgent — because it is.
My AC runs but the house never cools below 80. Is that a repair?
Usually one of three things: low refrigerant charge, a coil that needs cleaning, or a system that was undersized or has leaking ducts. The diagnostic tells us which. If it's charge or coils, it's a same-day repair. If it's sizing or ducts, we'll show you the measurements and your options — no pressure either way.
Will you tell me to replace when a repair would do?
No, and the incentive structure is why you can believe that: our technicians earn salary, not commission. We repair 16-year-old systems all the time when the fix is sound. When we do recommend replacement, we hand you the repair-versus-replace math in writing so you can check it yourself.
