Meridian Care Plan · Las Vegas valley

Maintenance with a data sheet, not a checklist sticker.

Most 'tune-ups' in this town are a hose-down and a sticker. Ours is a measurement session: refrigerant charge verified by superheat/subcool, capacitors tested under load against spec, static pressure logged, blower amps recorded, coil condition photographed, drain line cleared and treated. Every reading goes into your unit's running logbook — so we can see a capacitor drifting out of tolerance in April and swap it for $40 before it kills a compressor start in July.

Care Plan members get spring and fall visits scheduled around your calendar, priority dispatch ahead of non-members when the summer board lights up, no after-hours surcharge ever, and 15% off any repair. The plan is month-to-month; cancel whenever. We keep members by being useful, not by contract lock-in.

The honest pitch: this plan makes us less money per member than emergency work would. That's the point. A fleet of maintained systems fails less, our summer schedule stays humane, and your AC dies of old age instead of neglect. Everybody wins except the failure rate.

Meridian Care Plan — common questions

Is a maintenance plan actually worth it, or is it a gimmick?

Run the math: $216/yr buys two instrumented tune-ups (a la carte value ~$260), zero after-hours fees, priority scheduling, and 15% off repairs. If your system is under 5 years old and lightly used, you might reasonably skip it. Past year 6 in this climate, the capacitor-caught-early scenario alone tends to pay for the plan.

What's actually different from a $49 tune-up coupon?

The $49 coupon tune-up exists to get a salesperson into your house. Ours exists to take measurements. You get numbers on paper each visit and a technician on salary with no commission to chase. The difference shows up in what we don't try to sell you.

Do you service systems you didn't install?

Absolutely — most Care Plan members came to us with existing equipment, every brand and vintage. First visit establishes the baseline logbook; from there, we maintain it like we put it in.
