The moment this company exists because of: 2010, a kitchen table in Spring Valley, Ray's mother holding a quote for a 5-ton air conditioner. Her house, by the math Ray ran that evening on the back of the quote itself, needed three and a half. The salesman hadn't measured anything. He hadn't even gone into the attic.
Ray had spent the previous decade as a chief building engineer on the Strip, responsible for the chilled-water plants and air handling of properties where a cooling failure makes the evening news. In that world, nothing gets replaced without load data, nothing gets commissioned without verification, and nobody's pay depends on selling a bigger chiller. He quit in 2011 and started Meridian Air to run residential HVAC the same way.
Fifteen years later the company is 9 technicians, a dedicated duct crew, and a shop full of instruments off Patrick Lane — and the operating rule hasn't moved an inch: no claim without a measurement behind it.
